Hello out there! Networking via List Serves.
If you have run into a dead-end in your effort to find a resource, or you want to
connect with others in your area of research, or you want to keep up with the latest
rumors - sign up on a listserv. Or search the list
serves to see if someone has posted.
Listservs are online discussions that are informal in nature and are a comfortable
place to seek information or contacts. In our experience the information found at these
groups is generally very good and the response time is excellent. It is a good way to
locate expertise that is not detailed in more general sources.
