Step 4: Maintenance and
Reinforcement
- Share your goals with someone who can support you and share your progress.
- Break the steps toward your goal into bite sizes pieces.
- Review the reason that you have set the goals before you go to sleep at night.
- Run your success movie on a regular basis.
- Put yourself on the fast track. For every goal you wish to achieve, there is probably
someone else who has already achieved it. Seek them out and learn from their
mistakes.
These visualization techniques are the most effective I have found for helping
individuals make extraordinary and lasting changes in their life. I hope you will be
willing to give them a try. Best wishes in the New Year and may your wishes and
resolutions be realized.
