Senator Tom Daschle (D-SD) recently placed almost 300 Congressional Research Service
(CRS) Reports online (about 1/10th of the current CRS Reports in the library). Employing
over 700 people at a cost of $62 million per year, the Congressional Research Service
(CRS) "works exclusively as a nonpartisan analytical, research, and reference arm for
Congress." Reports can be browsed by name, number, or subject, or conduct a keyword
search.
Subject areas include: Environment/Natural Resources, Economic Policy, Government and
Law, Foreign and Defense Policy, Health, and Science and Technology. Reports may be viewed
