CLINICAL SALES SPECIALIST

Reports to

Clinical Sales Coordinator

Scope

Sales support and market development for strong research focused company entering clinical diagnostics. Responsible for targeting key clinical sales accounts and training of sales organization to special requirements of the diagnostic customer. Conducts instrument training and interfaces with all levels of the sales and marketing organization.

Special Requirements

BS / BA in Life Sciences. Sales or product management in diagnostic industry. Flexibility for 60% travel.

Minimal Experience/
Education

BS any scientific field. 2-4 years diagnostic sales. Previous Technical or Product Specialist experience.

Preferred Experience/
Education

BS any scientific field. 2-4 years diagnostic sales specializing in DNA. Account knowledge of nirthest diagnostic customers, especially clinical reference laboratories. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Broad knowledge of molecular biology. Ability to interface with scientific counterparts.
