Title	Product Manager, Molecular Biology Products
Reports to	Marketing Manager
Location	Midwest
Scope	Manage the sales growth and profitability of the products in assigned product lines and market segments by: analyzing market opportunities for the assigned product/market segment, developing a plan of action to address profitably those opportunities, directing resources of the organization to implement the plan, and monitoring the results of activities for adjustments and improvements. Monitor sales and profitability as well as product line integrity. Involves interacting with IT, Operations, Advertising Agency, Customers, R&D and other stakeholders
Special Requirements	Travel required (10 - 20%)
Minimal Experience/ Education
Preferred Experience/ Education	Undergraduate degree in life sciences. 3 years laboratory experience, 3 years commercial experience, including 2 years involving direct customer contact. Must have demonstrated influencing and interpersonal skills, specific knowledge of molecular biology market (products, technology, competitors, customers and techniques), presentation skills, results orientation and ability to lead project teams.
